The North East Ski season usually starts in late November and can run till late April. There are some Backcountry areas that can be skied into may and even June! Here is a list of lift serviced ski areas in New england... All places have a variety of terrain from beginner to expert. There are also several areas where you can backcountry ski but for the most part that is advanced to expert terrain.

long drive from Boston. Excellent terrain and a large vertical drop make this place a blast. The only above tree line skiing in the east!
New Hampshire
